Organizational Profile: Helena Industries


helena industries logoHelena Industries will soon begin a comprehensive electronics recycling program for our community, the surrounding areas and in partnership with other communities in South-West Montana. Helena Industries will have a take apart and sorting area in a separated area from current shop and pallet making operations and a dry, secure storage and recycling at our lower yard which will be renovated in coming months to include a pole barn and baling capacity.

Helena Industries anticipates being licensed as an electronics recycling facility with R2/RIOS and the State of Montana by the end of November 2015.

Multiple secure sites, including Helena Industries Thrift Store, will have varying levels of collection once we are fully permitted per local and state regulations. Main site will be on an appointment, limited, or event basis listed online.

Helena Industries is a private, nonprofit corporation dedicated to serving individuals with disabilities. We reach our objective by providing training, work opportunities, and case management services tailored to the individual’s interest and abilities.


Helena Industries has been serving persons with disabilities and providing job opportunities for more than four decades.

Other Services Offered to Individuals with Disabilities

Helena Industries provides programs which help disabled individuals train for and find jobs in their local community. Helena Industries provides employment through a variety of businesses that include: textile products, wood products, janitorial services, document destruction, mailing services, and a retail thrift store.
